The Info

We want you to know

My style is simple but I believe that my images should speak voumes - about who you are as a person, about the relationship between a newly married couple, about the subtle nuances of everyday life.  I strive to create imatges at each and every wedding that illuminates the relationships; both of each individual family and the new family being created that day.   My goal is to provide you wiht a documentary-based illustration of your wedding day with minimal guiding or posing.  It's not my intention to just "make pretty pictures" but to truly make images that capture the relationship between two people in love.

I am often asked questions involving my pricing, travel policies, wedding day timelines, albums and other wedding details.  I've compiled the most-asked questions here for you.  I hope you find these answers helpful!  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions not answered here.  I hope to hear from you soon!

Coverage & Travel

If your wedding day is within 120km of Albury, there is no additional charges for travel.

This includes areas such as Rutherglen, Bright, Wangaratta, Corowa, Wagga Wagga, Mt Beauty etc.

For venues further, I love to travel to different locations and can quote you on what fees would be applicable to your chosen spot.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Many days are able to be covered fully by myself and a second photographer is not necessary to complete the documentation of the day.  Some days have many moving parts, a lot of guests or other things that would benefit from a second photographer.  We can certainly include our second photographer for your day, even if your chosen package doesn't include.

Do you edit all of our photographs?

Yes I do!  Every images that you received has been hand-edited, one at a time, without batching in bulk groups of mass-producing the results.  Each image has it's own attributes and requires a seperate editing, for instance black and white, female vs male, natural light vs flash photography, white balance and colour correction.

Can some of our photos be delivered in both black & white AND in colour!?

Absolutely!  I'll deliver a set of images in both colour and black and white and some photos really suit a black and white so I'll narrow those down for you.   If after the edited and USB is complete you find you'd like some more converted to black and white, I'm there for you.

How long does it take before we receive our products and photographs?

Online galleries are posted within six weeks of the wedding date and this is when your digital files are released as well.  Upon final approval of album designs, most albums are ready for delivery within twelve weeks.

Are our digital file watermarked?

They are not.  The high & low resolution files do not bear any watermarks.

How does the album design process work?

Wedding albums are one of my most favourite parts of the job!

We are so excited to create wedding albums for our clients.  They're a tangible, beautiful record of the day your life began as a family.  We know that life often gets in the way of creating these heirlooms, so we promise to make this process as easy as possible for you!  We pre-design client albums as a courtesy to you.  We will include your album design when delivering your digital files and online gallery.  After you've had a chance to look at your album, we'll set up a time to Skype, Facetime or meet in person to finish your design, or we have the ability to work off written instructions on the design via an online system.

What will my album look like once it's completed?

With the fresh, modern books I design, the images are printed directly onto the pages, muchn like a coffeetable book you'd buy at the bookshop.  I strive to keep the designs clear and classic, creating a book that will be a heirloom for future generations.  We work exquisivlely with Queensberry Albums in NZ, we were attracted to Queensberry due to the high standard of workmanship, I love personally how they're all handmake, their service is brilliant and you can just tell the quality is there.

Having a lifetime guarantee also means something pretty special.

If you asked me to describe myself and what I do in five words.

You know when you are just fully enthralled by something, not like a hobby or a pastime activity, like something you are obsessed with, that you can’t go a day without thinking about. Pure passion, I’m talking about wake up in the morning thinking about it and going to bed thinking about it.

I get a lot from photography, and connection is the major one. It’s my way of being able to connect with the world. The excitement that I get from producing images that people will be able to treasure for years to come almost outweighs the enjoyment from the technical and creative challenge it poses. But most of all, seeing people show their true selves to me in that moment of vulnerability is a real honour to witness as it takes a lot of trust, and knowing I can do that for people is very humbling.

Meeting new people has become part of my journey and is an adventure in itself, so I have the utmost respect for people, family and culture.
